Take it or Leave it

  • Father’s Day was a bust from a group ride perspective. Caught by surprise, thinking that the men and the lass would have been out in full-force to take advantage of the sunny skies, after yesterday’s rain-out. Would have been nice (a courtesy) knowing who was riding. Should we institute an attendance protocol, say by 9 pm the night before a ride, realising that one’s plans may change at the last minute.
  • Good ride nonetheless but windy. It was a hard-go and we didn’t get full recompense when we turned for home. There was more north in the wind than north-west and while BG’s flat on Lochwinnow (26 kms from Stinsons) halted the four horsemen on their homeward journey, it didn’t puncture the festive mood. You just s/h been there. Wish you had been!
  • Internet working. Bell installed service on the new house and two day’s later they disconnected us in error.
  • Rider concerns about safe, fun rides still open for discussion. Let’s talk.
