Hello there –

Well, I missed this morning’s ride with the group because of family obligations. It does happen, even t o me. I didn’t get back for the 7:30 Stinsons rendezvous; and, I’ve had no word from the lads about to-day’s ride or Saturday’s ride, if in fact anyone rode. I did cycle myself mid-morning for 83.3 kms. It was wet but warm. I returned home with soaking feet but otherwise, no harm done. The sun was shining somewhere. Isn’t it always. Still, if we were to wait for the perfect conditions we’d never leave the house. Life is like that. Did Columbus set sail from Palos in 1492 under a clear sky and a calm sea?

Well, cycling from Stinsons won’t reach the local Chronicle Guide whether we ride in good or bad weather. And, we won’t cycle to a new world but maybe we’ll discover a renewed awareness and appreciation for the life we live daily. Vivimus Vivamus

Okay, I’ve been out of the loop. I’m the so called communication guy who doesn’t know what’s up. Here’s the tentative plan for Monday:

1) Stinsons 6:30 start (NB: Rain or shine) (email arnpriorcycling@bell.net to confirm attendance. If there is no interest, then, I’ll just cycle from home)). Ride to Neat cafe via Castleford Pinnacle, Butler, S McNaughton, Goshen, #508 to Burnstown for coffee after 74 kms; home via W-L. Total 95 kilometres and 608 Metres of climbing.

2) Stinsons at 7:30 am start for a route and distance to be determined by those present.

Okay, FYI.

Ask yourself, where else would you rather be when the alarm rings on holiday Monday morning than on your bicycle pedalling away the fatty bits? You know you’ll just want to be there.
