That’s not a bad weekend of riding at pace and with climbs, except for this morning when we were true to our word. Willie R can vouch for that. Controlled and at a conversational speed. This was a very nice change and one we’ll adopt from time to time. Well disciplined everyone.

Yesterday in the Gatineau, we wasted no time (for us at any rate) in riding a double loop, albeit we were scattered in groups of two and singles because of a parking lot mix-up that resulted in JG very  late. This caused dissension about whether to wait or go. The impatient went and the patient doctor waited. Lots of lessons to be learned here for me. Sorry guys. Still, the Gatineau makes for great cycling. We’ll do that again but with more planning and contingency built in. Thanks to everyone for accepting me back to the fold.

As for next weekend, it’s Pembroke and 170 kilometres. Details to follow about the route and time of departure. KO is the road-boss and I await his instructions.

Okay, Stay fit, fine, firm always! Bye-bye, ac.
