Hello. Are you on life two yet? Let’s not put it off. Tempus Fugit. The sun rises and falls, one day follows another – and bit by bit the days make a life. Poof. Then it’s gone, like birthday candles blown hurriedly (with no thought of the past, the present, or the future). Breath and smile.

Here’s the tentative plan for Saturday:

Meet at Stinsons on White Lake Rd for 7:30 am 7:30 am start (rain or shine) and ride to Almonte via Madawaska Blvd, Dwyer Hill, Galetta Side Rd, Hwy 29, Shaw Rd, Waba, Pakenham, Hwy 29, Clayton, Tatlock, Wolf Grove to Almonte for coffee at Palms (Km 57); home via Martin, Blakeney, Cnty Rd 17, Kinburn Side Rd, Dwyer Hill, etc for a total distance of 95 Kms.

This route is mostly flat except for the climb out of Pakenham and the rollers on Calyton Side Rd. We have no training goal for Saturday other than to spin the legs and get some kilometres. Plan is to keep the effort moderate. Ask yourself, “where else would you rather be?”

As usual, it’s steady as she goes, with minimal delays on the road.

Weather: 20/27 C, a mix of sun, cloud, rain but warm; winds south 10 -15; POP 70 – 90 %

Caveat: All this subject to change based upon the turnout and the weather and rider consensus.
