Hello to you all. Please excuse this interruption in the blog interregnum. I know it’s our annual fallow time but I’m breaking the blog silence because an increasing slothfulness has roused me.

This is a warning. It doesn’t take long for one’s middle to thicken. In my case, that’s forty-three days. Resolve is a wet coat hanging on the chair; dripping away into a formless puddle. Action is required soon. Spending helps because it offers the illusion of action. Mind you, the Wahoo advert tantalises. The Kickr may hold redemption – like a pop-up tent missionary offering salvation. The question though is “is it real?” Fears are real. Fears motivate. The very thought of struggling on a long climb brings on nightmares. Not gonna happen. Yup, come the new year, I’ll renew my physical contract with myself. Faster, Higher, Stronger, really! And you?

Where are we from?  Where does time go? Where do we go? A brief encounter, and then nothing. Good bye Leonard. Going home, at last.        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9sA66l0j8do
