Okay, hello. Will it be two days or one this weekend. The weather answers to know man. The weather is – full stop. The high and low pressures, the wind flows, the bright sun and overcast sky hold their in-camera counsel oblivious of any need to consult. We accept what is given and take pleasure in a morning free from the harness of commerce. We embrace the moment and pedal towards our own Parnassus. “A man is happy and poetic in health and strength.” Life  could be more fraught and difficult than spending time on Saturday morning on a bicycle “enjoying the simple fantastic beauty of ordinary things,” including the freshness of rain. There is no agenda: to be is enough. One is both the mover and the seconder. Approval is automatic., and adjournment is  far down the road. Come and find your rhythm. Join us, if you can.

Here  is the tentative plan:

Meet at Canadian Tyre parking lot in Arnprior (Daniel St) at 8 am 8 am and ride to Starbucks in Kanata via Rob’s route. This includes Dunrobin Shores, Baskins Beach, and the 6th Line. This is a great ride with lots of ups and downs but nothing too difficult. Home via Old Carp Road, Diamondview, and Loggers Way. You won’t want to miss this. Total distance is approx 100 kms+/-. Heck, I’ll even throw in a surprise (optional) detour on the homeward leg.

Pace steady as she goes. And, I mean enjoyable and not hell-bent for leather. Weather 18 C, with winds E/SE of 15.

Okay, bye bye, ac. Comments always welcome at arnpriorcycling@bell.net; http://www.twitter.comArnpriorCycling
