Hello – well, that was a fast week. And, here we are again on a Friday with the prospect of two good cycling days before us. What shall we do? Well, there are two options: Ride with Gregg (gwssheehy@magma.ca) at 9 am from Stinsons or see below for details of the 8 am ride:

Venue: Stinsons on White Lake Rd at 8 am 8am

Route: Arnprior – Burnstown –  Renfrew (Pucker St) – Whalen Rd – Hwy 132 – Renfrew; home via Gillian and Lochwinnow – Stevensons Rd, etc.

Distance: 90-100 Kms approx; Description: Lots of climbing but fun; about 2 kms of hard-pack

Effort: Steady as she goes; Weather: Fair 16 – 26 C, with moderate winds from the West

Coffee: Either at Tim’s or the Bonnechere Bakery in Renfrew after about 60 Kms.

This is a very nice route, with lots of rollers and back country riding except for the odd stretch on busy regional roads. You won’t be disappointed, especially if I have the wind pegged just right. Let’s keep it together and be selective on our hill sprinting. Let’s enjoy the outing. Don’t miss it.
