May 24/14: Six Riders; 169 Kms; 5 Hrs 46; 605 Metres

Okay, hello. We made it. We are not yesterday’s riders but to-day’s. Bring on the RLCT. Well, maybe not so fast. We can get there but can we get back. There is more training needed yet. Still, it is great to know that the legs will respond repeatedly to the undulations of  River Rd, Chenaux Rd, Blind Line, Magnesium Rd, Mansel Hill Rd, Kohlsmith Rd, Snake River Line, Mountain Rd, Stafford Line Three, White Water Rd, Hwy 41. And that’s just on the outward leg. If you don’t recognize these roads, you would have had you been there to ride one of our favourite routes. Rural roads and rural life is great! Has anybody seen a traffic light?

As for Sunday, you can join us. Here is the tentative plan: (Note change in Venue)

Venue: Canadian Tyre Parking Lot at 8 am 8 am

Route: Kanata for coffee; Description of Route: Hilly on the way out

Distance: 100 Kms approx; Pace/Effort 7 out of 10

Weather: 14 – 24 C with winds north and nw.

Bye bye, ac. arnpriorcycling@bell.net/www.twitter.com/ArnpriorCycling
