Sept 28: 104.5 Kms; 3 Hrs 23 Saddletime: 373 Metres; 3781 Calories. Jeff, Mark, Perry, Raymond, Keith, Rob, Marcel, Kevin, Eric

Okay, no matter what word you use, this morning’s ride (henceforth known as Rob’s Ride) was as nice a cycle as we’ve had all year. Near perfect conditions, except for the fog first thing. This was certainly a challenge for longer than we might have liked. Still, all things pass and by the time we crested Vance’s Hill in Dunrobin the sun shone down in glorious radiance. We are still pinching ourselves at this unexpected gift of a day coming as it did on a Saturday.

If you like to ride a bicycle and if you enjoy the camaraderie of a group ride—the rapport, the repartee, the quick barb, the pace-line and the little sprints that develop out of nowhere, and the breakaways and the chase downs—join us. And, I haven’t even mentioned coffee time! Wow, these rides have a lot to offer. You’ll just have be there on Sunday when we will do it all again. Here is the plan:

Stinsons at 8 am 8 am: Route: The Palms Cafe in Almonte via Conc 10, Pakenham, Hwy 29 to Clayton Side Rd, Tatlock to Wolf Grove to Mill St. Home via Blakeney and Dwyerhill. Distance <100 Kms. Don’t miss this one. It will be another beauty–warmer than this morning but with a heavier wind. New riders welcome. Did I say don’t miss it?

Okay. Ciao. AC. Comments always welcome at arnpriorcycling@bell.net; twitter at http://www.twitter.com/ArnpriorCycling.

Ps: great riding by everyone. Nice to see Mark back after a brief break and Marcel again, after having been busy all summer.
