Okay. We are riding. I know one might question that decision, given the gloomy forecast. Still, I have confidence that you won’t be disappointed. Here’s the plan:

Venue: Stinsons on White Lake Road

Time: 9 am 9am 9am–don’t be late (it won’t be raining; trust me)

Route: Russett Dr to Stewartville to #508 to Goshen Rd, etc to Renfrew; then, onwards to the top of Pucker Street (17kms) and back down to the Burnstown Rd to the Neat Cafe for coffee (78 km mark, approx). This is a great training run, with lots of hills. We will stay as a group up and back on Pucker. Once back on the Burnstown Rd, the big lads can gun it. What do you think. It will be a blast. Total Distance 100 kms.

Temperature expected to be 10C; wind west at 20kms.

Hope to see lots of prospective RLCT cyclists on this one. We are riding for distance and leg power—not speed.

Okay, that’s it. Comments always welcome at arnpriorcycling@bell.net. hc

ps: chew on this: the five ‘S’s of eating–reduce sweets, avoid seconds, except Saturdays and Sundays, sometimes.
